Nicole Thorn is an award-winning editor working across feature films, television, and digital series. Her recent work on Girl Crush earned her the Best Editing award at Stareable Fest LA, along with a nomination for Best Editing (Open Content) at the 2024 Australian Screen Editors Awards.
Nicole's credits include the AACTA Award winning Ellie & Abbie (& Ellie’s Dead Aunt), and Gabby’s Dollhouse (DreamWorks), where she served as animatic editor on the Annie -nominated episode Pandy’s Bad Day.
She has been described by the director of Run Club as “the greatest asset we could have ever imagined,” praising her as “an engaged collaborator” who brought energy, insight, and clever solutions to the edit. On Girl Crush, director Olivia Aleksoski said Nicole always offered "a unique perspective that served the humour and tone of the series.”
