Episode 10 - Jenny Hicks and Ben Steel

Today, Final_Final_Locked is excited to share our conversation with Jenny Hicks and Ben Steel. It’s an important episode, and our last of the season, so don’t miss it.
Ben is the founder and company director of Screen Well, a hub for Mental Health and Wellbeing for the Australian Screen Sector. He directed the acclaimed ABC documentary The Show Must Go that explores the mental health of the people working in the Australian entertainment industry. Ben is an accredited Mental Health First Aid instructor who brings this training with his knowledge and 30 years of work experience in the screen sector.
Jenny has studied film and television at AFTRS in Sydney and at UCLA in Los Angeles.  As an assistant editor, she worked on feature films such as Wild at Heart, the first three Matrix Films, The Last Samurai, Blood Diamond and The Thin Red Line.  As a conform editor she worked on Moulin Rouge, Little Fish, Lord of the Rings (I &II) and King Kong. In 2007 she began editing, using her strong storytelling skills to specialise in long form documentaries, television drama and feature films. Credits include A Million Colours, Winnie Mandela and Emu Runner, Robert Mugabe, What Happened?, The House and You Can’t Ask That.
