‘Cutting It’ Inclusively
With the ASE aiming to make events as accessible & inclusive as possible, the ASE is excited to offer a limited number of free ‘in person’ & ‘live stream’ tickets to the “Cutting It” Festival for those from under-represented communities.
These under-represented communities include, but are not limited to, those who identify as:
- First Nations
- Culturally And Racially Marginalised (C.A.R.M.)
- LGBTQIA+
- People with Disability &/or chronic health condition(s)
- Neurodivergent Individuals
- Regionally based editors
- Those currently experiencing financial hardship
Tickets will be randomly assigned to applicants from each of the under-represented communities.

Entries for the draw close midnight Wednesday 29th October 2025.
All applicants will be notified whether they were successful or not by email before Sunday 9th November.
If you have already purchased tickets to ‘Cutting It’ and your application for a free ticket is successful, you are eligible for a full refund.
Likewise, if you end up being unsuccessful, there will still be time for you to purchase tickets at your ASE discounted rate.
The festival is due to take place Saturday 6th December 2025 at the State Library of New South Wales.
