Roland Gallois ASE
Roland Gallois is a film and documentary editor with 20 years experience. In drama he is maybe best known for the indigenous film ‘Samson and Delilah’ which won the Camera D’or at Cannes in 2008. In 2002 Roland won the Australian Film Institute (now ACTAA) ‘best documentary editor’, for ‘Painting with light in a dark world’ . Recently Gallois cut the feature SLOW WEST in London, starring Michael Fassender. SLOW WEST won the Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival. Recently Gallois locked off the feature We Are Still Here- that opened the SFF in 2022.
Roland has just finished working on the feature doc DEEP WATER with Blackfella films in Sydney, NSW. He is now Head of Editing at AFTRS.
