BIO
I began my film editing career in France in 1995, where I spent 12 years learning the craft as an
assistant to some of France's most distinguished editors, working on independent films d'auteur,
studio films, documentaries & feature trailers. During my time there, I collaborated on films such as
Pierre Salvadori’s Après Vous & …Comme Elle Respire (White Lies), Michel Blanc's Mauvaise
Passe (The Escort) & John Malkovich's The Dancer Upstairs.
Returning to Australia in 2005, I continued cutting at prestigious edit houses Guillotine & Method
Studios in Sydney.
At the start of 2014, wanting to create a working environment where the art & craft of editing was
repositioned at the centre of my practice, I opened my own independent shop, One Egg Is
Enough Editorial.
In 2019 I was awarded the prestigious Australian Screen Editors Accreditation in recognition of
excellence in screen editing & outstanding contribution to Australian screen culture. I am also a
proud member of the Australian Society of Cinema Pioneers & an International Partner of the
American Cinema Editors.
In addition to my achievements in feature film, I have been an active participant in international
film education and industry exchange. I have delivered masterclasses on film editing at the
Melbourne International Film Festival (2015) and at the Edimotion Film Editing Festival in
Cologne, Germany (2024), where The Nightingale featured at a headline screening. In 2025, I
contributed as a panel member for the Tempo Global Perspectives Panel organised by the
American Cinema Editors.
