Adrian Powers is an Australian film director, screenwriter and editor whose work has been seen across the globe, including at the Austin, Sydney and Venice Film Festivals (during which filmmaker Ridley Scott remarked that Adrian and his fellow finalists were "all clearly talents for the industry to watch"). Adrian graduated from the International Film School Sydney and has produced content for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Apple, QANTAS, Universal Music, Yves Saint Laurent, The Guardian, Lonely Planet, Volvo and Google. He co-wrote four episodes of the Logie and AACTA Award nominated Netflix original series, ‘Dive Club’, and his short film 'Brolga' was successful at festivals both at home and internationally, garnering multiple 'Best Film' and 'Best Director' awards, as well as inclusion in the Australian National Film and Sound Archive. In 2023, Adrian co-wrote and directed the popular rom-com ‘A Royal in Paradise’ (which received a warm reception worldwide, including a theatrical release in Australia), and the international Netflix hit ‘Love is in the Air’ (starring Delta Goodrem), which premiered at #1 globally on its opening day, scoring almost twelve million views in its first week. Adrian currently resides in Sydney, Australia.
