Scott Dyer

I am 45 years of age and have always had a passionate love films, both long and short. I completed a degree in television production at university in 1999, a course I joined specifically to learn editing.
Immediately afterwards I gained freelance work as an assistant editor for a few years, working on a number of television specials and series until I took a position at 60 Minutes as an Associate Editor. While here, I became the regular editor for the "Peter Harvey Mailbag" segment and cut a few stories plus a number of shorter 'update' stories and web content. At the same time, I worked on personal projects and cut the odd corporate for friends & associates.
I am currently employed as a post-production co-ordinator, though I've recently completed a Post-grad in Drama Editing at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, with a view to working again as a freelance editor or Editor's Assistant with drama - something I enjoy a lot more.
