FULL CV: au.linkedin.com/pub/orly-danon/11/686/5b/

I’ve been editing documentary films for over a decade, working in both South Africa and the UK, and now in Australia.
My work spans Science, History, Current Affairs, Docu-Drama, Factual Entertainment and Observational films.
My passion is in storytelling, and I apply this to all films whatever the genre. I’m easy to work with, have a great sense of humour and am committed to pushing creative boundaries.

Awards: In 2012 I was awarded an Australian Screen Editors Guild Award for my work on Go Back To Where You Came From. The series has won various awards including a Logie, an AACTA and a prestigious Rose 'd Or. Niall Ferguson’s ‘Ascent of Money’ won the International Emmy in 2009. BBC’s ‘Earth, Power of the Planet’ was nominated for a BAFTA, as was ‘Thalidomide, Life at 40’. Horizon’s ‘Ghost in your Genes’ and ‘Hunt for An Aids Vaccine’ made the Grierson Awards Shortlist, as did Channel 4’s ‘SARS Killer Bug’. In 2003 I was nominated for the Broadcast Award for Best Young Editor of the Year.
