Nicholas Dunlop

I'm a freelance Editor and Director of screen content.

My editing credits include the ABC feature documentaries "Who Flew First" and "Play to Win" (2016), the retrospective episode of SBS's "Who Do You Think You Are?" (2016), ABC-1 observational documentary series "The Dreamhouse" (2014), "Angela's Rules" (also producer, NITV, 2015), "My Three Families" (NITV, 2014), the Chinese feature film "Deep Sleep No More" (Beijing Jin Qi, 2012), and “The One and Only” micro-doc series (ABC-2, 2014).

In 2014, I was the winner of three West Australian Screen Awards including Best Editor, Best Direction and Best Factual Production (Longform) for the ABC Arts documentary series, “Comic Book Heroes”. I was also one of the producers on the award-winning ABC micro-doc "Summer Blues" (2015).

My work ranges across most forms of drama and documentary including series for national and international clients such as ABC, SBS, Discovery, Beijing Jin Qi, ZDF, Arte Lifestyle and ITV. I'm Secretary of the WA branch of Australian Screen Editors (ASE), and Managing Director of Little Star Productions, a factual content production house and editing facility based in Subiaco.
