BIO
Editing for me springs from a desire to communicate abstract unexpressed inner worlds, ideas and experiences through visuals and sound. I aim to construct compelling stories that resonate with people, and in some way widen understanding of difference and the unknown.
My experience throughout the last thirty years or so has ranged from commercials through to ABC Drama, Childrens, TV Features, Drama sound editing, 4 Corners, the ABC's Indigenous Program Unit as editor (Poison, Blacktracker, Empire, Tent Boxers - Director Michael Riley) Songlines (9 x 30 min music programs) , Supervising Editor, Post Production Supervisor and Associate Producer (Festival of The Dreaming 1997).
Editor of 82 episodes of Bananas In Pyjamas.
Science programs (Talking Science, Quantum and Catalyst), Talking Heads, Talks Unit, Artscape, Strickly Speaking (13 x 1/2hr), The New Inventors, Kitchen Cabinet with Annabel Crabb, At The Movies Interviews and specials, The Reef (89' music performance film), Secret Record Collection, For Better For Worse (5 x 1/2 hr), Gardening Australia, Playschool Art Time, Australian of the Year, New Dads, The Upside, and many episodes of Compass.
